Neonatal Marfan Syndrome with Pulmonary Artery Root Dilatation

Echo was done on this newborn infant boy due to suspected CHD, Echocardiography findings included aortic artery root dilatation,pulmonary artery root dilatation, myxomatous mytral valve prolapse and severe mitral regurgitation,tricuspid regurgitation and large PDA. Neonatal Marfan syndrome differs somewhat from those seen in older patient,demonstrating significant MR,TR and PI. In addition,these children have significant heart failure.
